The Walmley Dental Practice Team have decades of experience in orthodontic dentistry, and Peter Thornley was previously a Hospital Practitioner in Orthodontics at Good Hope Hospital.

We can correct misaligned or irregular teeth by using teeth straightening techniques, braces, retainers, Invisalign, and other orthodontic work.

Peter was very proud to win the British Orthodontic Society’s Practitioner prize this year. Thank you to Amelia for allowing us to use her photographs. She was treated with fixed braces and her treatment took approximately 18 months. 

If you are interested in having private orthodontic treatment, please ring 0121 313 3100. The consultation fee is £100 which includes any necessary x-rays. A variety of treatment options are available including fixed metal braces, fixed ceramic (clear) braces and Invisalign. Fees range from £2400 to £4000 and the cost can be spread over the duration of the treatment, typically costing £100 to 150 per month.
